Sizzling Hot Pinks: fitflops "Whirl" in Grape

I know fitflops don't exactly work the body toning magic they promise, but they are cute and incredibly comfortable. I think I can even pull these off at work, if only on casual Fridays.

Sizzling Hot Pinks: Ann Taylor Zebra Print Dress

All cotton is the only way to go for summer. I'm keeping an eye on this gorgeous dress made of super luxurious sateen cotton, waiting for it to go on sale. This will be mine for under $100.

Sizzling Hot Pinks: LeSportsac Striped Clear Tote

I just love the color combination in this beach bag from LeSportsac. The shade name—Creamsicle Stripe—makes it sound even yummier. This is so on my wish list for summer.

I know this season is all about teal and tangerine, but I'm feeling pinks. Here's the first of my picks—this Sinful Colors neon shade was made for summer. Just $1.99 at Walgreens.

Crazy Summer Nails: Neapolitan Ice Cream

Here's the first in my series of fun, anything-goes manicures for summer. For this creamy design I deliberately applied thick coats to give the effect of melting ice cream. My shades are:
  • Chocolate: Sally Hansen Honey Whip
  • Vanilla: Sally Hansen Mousseline
  • Strawberry: Wet 'n Wild #402 Tickled Pink

Nail of the Week: Pale Purple Gradient

I have so many beautiful shades of purple in my nail polish collection. Here are just a few. From the bottom up:
  • Revlon Lilac Pastelle
  • Sally Hansen Lacey Lilac
  • Sally Hansen No Hard Feelings
  • China Glaze Full Spectrum (layered over No Hard Feelings)

DIY Caviar Manicure

I'm a big fan of this textured look—the real thing costs $26 plus but like many others I used scrapbooking microbeads to create my own. For this mani I used Recollections' metallic collection from Michaels craft store over the Sally Hansen nail polish shade Emerald Express

Nail of the Week: Sally Hansen Mad for Plaid

I'm still seeing displays of SH' limited edition Spring 2012 designs and I picked up this plaid design a few days ago. It would look cute on its own but for fun I paired it with a matching SH polish—Salon Manicure Casting Call.
